Our History

Sindus Instrumentação Analítica Ltda. opened in Porto Alegre in 1987. Since the beginning, the company has dedicated itself to the development of Gas Analysis Systems, especially TRS (Total Reduced Sulphur) Systems for pulp and paper mills.

Since they were dealing with extremely complex technology which was, at that time, dominated by just a few manufacturers in the world, developing this equipment was a great challenge, which gave the company a unique advantage in terms of knowledge in Analytical Instrumentation. A situation which was soon recognized by its clients, who, based on the trust and transparency that Sindus inspires, opened their doors for the company to take on maintenance of their analyzer group. This is where the business that would make the company a point of reference in the pulp and paper industry would begin: the outsourcing of its industrial maintenance services.
